Climb with our certified guide and watch the sunset atop Mt. Pico (2351m); sleep under a million stars in its crater.
At the top of the Mountains crater, we will set up camp to spend the night and will also have the opportunity to witness an unforgettable sunset. Experience breathtaking night sky view as you relax in the crisp mountain air. This adventure will be one you will remember for a lifetime.
To witness the fascinating sunrise, the following morning, we will climb the Piquinho so you can take pictures with the extraordinary view of the island. Plus, you'll enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, communing with nature and taking in the sights the Piquinho offers.

Meeting times vary seasonally due to sunset/sunrise; see details.
- Jan.-Apr. 30th, meet at Mountain House 1:30pm.
- May 1-Oct. 31, meet at Mountain House at 3pm.
- Nov. 1-Dec. 31, meet at Mountain House 1pm.
Descent by 8:00. Return to the Mountain House at noon. Times may vary.
Pico Mountain is not a light walking trail; all participants must have good physical preparation.
