September 27th, Happy World Tourism Day &Â Congratulations to everyone whom participated in the first annual Pico Me Up photo contest.

Since 1980, the United Nations World Tourism Organization has celebrated World Tourism Day as international observances on September 27. This date was chosen as on that day in 1970, the Statutes of the UNWTO were adopted. The adoption of these Statutes is considered a milestone in global tourism. #worldtourismdayÂ

The moment everyone was waiting for is here!
We decided to do more and help promote tourism of quality to Pico Island Azores, Portugal.
As a result each  year we will create and promote  a photo contest where we will offer cash prizes to the photo winners and free tourism services to those whom vote for their favourite pictures.
